Plans and billing

Three tiers, each including everything below it. Free is a real tier rather than a trial, and most people should spend a while there first.

Before signing in#

Explore public feeds, search and filters, leaderboards, basic whale profiles, charts, events, the map and short-range History without an account. Create a free account to follow whales, save markets, watch events and keep your research synchronized across devices. Paid analysis keeps its Pro or Quant requirements.

The three tiers#

  • Free, $0. The live whale feed, search, watchlist, leaderboard, basic whale profiles, events, the map, short-range History, line charts, the Bitcoin forecast headline, Orca paper trading, five Agent questions and the daily digest.
  • Pro, $9 a month or $59 a year. Orca live trading, custom alert rules, full whale profiles, The Prophet, the Pro views of events and the map (smart money, coordinated wallets, clusters and the timeline), the remaining chart modes, CSV and JSON export, and expanded Agent usage.
  • Quant, $99 a month or $599 a year. Everything in Pro plus the REST API, webhooks and bulk exports.

The annual prices are the cheaper way in by some distance. Quant includes Pro in full, so there is never a reason to hold both.

Agent usage#

Free includes limited Agent usage, Pro includes expanded monthly usage, and Quant includes extensive monthly usage. Check your remaining allowance in Settings → Agent, or read the Agent guide to learn about page context, pinned pages, and confirmed actions.

How to pay#

Card#

Handled by Stripe, monthly or annual, cancellable at any time.

Crypto#

Both paid tiers accept USDC on Polygon, paid directly to a wallet rather than through a processor. The prices are the same. Checkout shows an exact amount, a fraction of a cent above the price, that marks the payment as yours: send exactly that amount within 24 hours, then paste the transaction hash. A crypto payment buys a fixed period rather than starting a subscription, so it will not renew on its own.

In the iOS app#

Apple's in-app purchase sells Pro only. Quant is web-only, being an API tier. An Apple subscription is managed and cancelled through the App Store, not through Polywhaler. See the iOS app.

Note

However you pay, you end up with the same entitlement on the same account. Which method you used only changes where you go to cancel.

Changing or cancelling#

  • Card subscriptions are managed in Settings, including cancellation. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Apple subscriptions are cancelled in your App Store settings. Restore Purchases in the app re-links one after a reinstall.
  • A crypto period simply ends. Pay again to extend it.
  • If a card payment fails, the subscription goes past due and Pro access is withdrawn until it is settled. Updating the card restores it.
