Charts

Charts lets you see how a market has priced an outcome over time, and what the whales were doing as the price moved. Pro unlocks the candlestick view, the whale-trade overlay, and side-by-side market comparison.

Open a chart

  1. Click Charts in the sidebar to land on the market search.
  2. Find the market you want. Type a keyword or paste a Polymarket slug.
  3. Pick the outcome you want to chart (for binary markets that means Yes or No).
The Charts page Markets list, with tabs for Trending, Highest Volume, Gainers, Losers, Volatile, Whale Volume, and New, and a table of markets with their price and 24h change.
The Markets list. Sort tabs sit above the table. Click any row to open its chart.

Switch between views

Three view buttons sit above the chart.

  • Area: the implied probability over time. Free and the default view.
  • Candles: an OHLC candlestick chart, the same shape you are used to from crypto. Pro.
  • Whales: the area chart with every $10k+ trade overlaid as a marker, color-coded by side. Hover any marker to see who traded and their insider score. Pro.

Tip

The Whales view is the one that makes Polywhaler different from the chart you would see on Polymarket directly. The visual pattern of where big money came in is often more useful than the price line on its own.

Change the timeframe

The timeframe buttons run from 1H through ALL. The selection only changes the visible range, not the resolution of the data, so zooming out is cheap.

Compare two markets side by side

Multi-chart compare lets you pull up to four markets next to each other on a shared time axis. Useful when one event affects multiple markets at once (an election affects every related market, an earnings event moves several stock-price markets at the same time).

  1. From any chart page, click Compare or Add chart in the toolbar.
  2. Search for the second market and pick its outcome.
  3. Stack as many as four. Remove one with the X on its panel.

Top current positions

Below every chart is a Top Current Positions list. These are the largest open positions on that market right now, ranked by size, with the wallet name and insider score. Click any wallet to jump straight to its profile.
